Exploring Angkor temples, we continue to use this as the standard upper limit for the size of small groups because it has consistently been highlighted as an important selling element by all of our client’s testimonials. “Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about Siem Reap’s history and culture, and he took us to some truly breathtaking sites. I loved that the tour was private, so we could go at our own pace and avoid the crowds. Plus, knowing that our money was going back to support the local community made the experience even more special.” – Melania J., USA
“The whole thing was wonderful. I can’t remember a better experience. The tour was perfect. The guide was so knowledgable and had done a lot of research on Cambodia. He made the day exciting, interesting, and fun. The food was good and the accommodations were lovely.” – Julie, California
“This trip was amazing! The tour guide was incredible and the tours he led us on were informative and interesting. The personalized experience was a huge plus – our guide really took the time to understand what we were interested in and tailor the tour to our preferences. We even saw some sights that were not included in the original itinerary! I cannot recommend this tour enough! It feels great to know that our tourism dollars are going back to support the local community.” – Christina e Ferdinando, Switzerland
We know this might be difficult for some of you to internalize, especially if you are coming from Scandinavia or England, but we must strongly warn you to be very careful when crossing the streets in Siem Reap. Walking the downtown streets and riverfront is excellent, but please be aware of oncoming traffic when crossing the street.
Hey there! If you’re planning on taking one of our tours, we want to make sure you have an amazing time exploring Angkor National Park. One thing to keep in mind is that our tour guides and tours policy strongly recommends against including meals in the overall cost of the tour.
But don’t worry, you’ll have plenty of options when it comes to finding something to eat. There are loads of local restaurants situated inside Angkor National Park, with each temple location offering its own selection of tasty refreshments and hot, traditional Khmer meals.
While we don’t have any specific recommendations for where to eat, we always encourage our guests to try out the local road restaurants located at the entrance of the temple and along their route. You’ll get a much more authentic experience than if you stop at the overpriced restaurants where large groups tend to gather.
So go ahead and explore to your heart’s content, and enjoy all the amazing flavors that Angkor National Park has to offer!
